Electric strike Dorcas 54 AF/GX with memory, without brake

The Electric strike Dorcas 54 AF/GX is made for pedestrian gates and the entrance doors of apartment buildings, and connects to any building intercom. The entrance is released by the intercom signal, with no key.

It comes with a stainless steel strike plate measuring 25 × 250 mm, which gives the entrance an even and durable finish. The body of the strike is made of steel. The latch depth is adjustable, which takes up tolerances in the installation. The housing is symmetrical and reversible, so the same model works on DIN left and DIN right doors; it is recessed into the frame, and the cut-out has to take the 67 × 21 × 28 mm body.

The model has a memory function: after the release signal the entrance stays unlocked until it is closed again, so a visitor need not hurry. This version has no brake, so it cannot be held permanently unlocked with a lever.

It runs on 8 – 12 V AC/DC with a resistance of 8 Ω and a current draw of 0.5 A. Tear resistance is 3250 N (330 kg-f) and the unit is tested over 300,000 openings.
