Corner strike plate BIRA 250 × 25/32 mm

The Corner strike plate BIRA is made for fitting an electric strike into the door frame of entrance doors that are opened by an electric impulse.

It is made of galvanised steel 2 mm thick, without lacquer, which gives it high strength and resistance. The cut-out fits BIRA electric strikes of the standard series (housing 20.5 × 75 × 28.5 mm), not the narrower MINI series.

A corner strike plate offers greater security and a firmer hold of the door than a standard strike plate. Because it is fixed with screws both at the front and at the side, it is much harder to force out, which makes it ideal for additional door security.

The plate is 250 mm long, the front face is 25 mm wide, the side face 32 mm, and the sheet is 2 mm thick. It is available in two versions to choose from – for left- and for right-hand doors. The plate is sold without screws; the screws that fix the electric strike to the plate come with the electric strike.
