Description
The Tag Standard DOM Tapkey transponder key fob opens the DOM Tapkey digital cylinder. It is compact and light, so it can be carried on a keyring and gives access without a mechanical key.
The fob is made of black rigid plastic that protects the electronics inside and has an integrated eyelet for a keyring. The front carries a round light grey label with the red DOM logo, while the back is entirely black with a matt finish and a recessed field for the number marking. It is waterproof with protection class IP 54 and is designed for a temperature range of -25 °C to +55 °C, which keeps it reliable in daily use.
It is equipped with Mifare 13.56 MHz technology (RFID 125 kHz, Mifare RFID 13.56 MHz). The transponder chip is unique and protected by its own cryptology (AES, AES-128 bit, Crypto-1, ISO 14443A, OSS, DES, 3DES), which guarantees key security.
Use is maintenance-free and needs no batteries, and no mounting is required – the fob is simply held up to the reader of the digital cylinder. The fob measures 34 × 43 × 5 mm.
