Description
The Electronic cylinder DOM 333 Tapkeypro turns a smartphone into a key: just hold it against the cylinder and the door opens. The door can also be opened with a DOM NFC key fob, and access is managed through the easy-to-use Tapkey app.
There are electronic knobs on both sides: the outer knob is stainless steel with a brushed finish (117), Ø 37.5 mm and 44.8 mm long, the inner one zinc alloy. Opening works via NFC (Near Field Communication) or BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), and communication between the medium and the cylinder is fully encrypted; the short range makes misuse even harder.
Users are managed from the app on Android or iOS and from a web browser on a computer. Authorisations can be granted and revoked remotely, and shared authorisations stay on the smartphone for 7 days without an internet connection. An internet connection or Wi-Fi is needed only for the first installation or when revoking opening rights.
Mounting is quick and simple: the cylinder goes in place of a standard cylinder, without cables, wiring or drilling, and it fits almost all doors. The fitting length is chosen from measures A and B of the existing cylinder. It is VdS certified in class BZ+, waterproof to IP 65 and fire resistant to T90.
