Security lock TITAN 784V green with door restrictor

The Security lock TITAN 784V in green (green-brown shade) is the most common way to add extra protection to a wooden door. It is fitted alongside the existing lock and raises the security level of the entrance door of a flat or house.

The lock body is made of steel and is operated by the Titan VDC K1 cylinder, which closes silently in two turns of the key. From the inside the lock is operated with a thumbturn, from the outside with the key. The cylinder is replaceable, so a new VDC cylinder can be bought separately while the existing lock is kept, and on request a high-security TL profile cylinder with an owner card against key copying can be fitted.

The letter “V” after the model number 784 stands for the built-in restrictor. With the first turn of the key the door can be opened only a few centimetres, like with a door chain, and with the second turn it is locked completely. The mechanism is designed so that the door cannot be locked accidentally by slamming it shut, and from the outside the lock can always be opened with the key, no matter how it was locked.

The lock suits left- and right-hand doors as well as single- and double-leaf doors. Everything needed for fitting and use is included: the lock with the restrictor, the Titan VDC K1 cylinder with 3 keys, a strike plate with adjustment washers and all required screws. The model is available in four colours – brown, green-brown, white and grey – with or without the restrictor.
