Security lock OMR 423 right-hand key-knob

The Security lock OMR 423 right-hand in the key-knob version is an add-on lock that offers a high level of security when retrofitted to a door. It provides maximum locking security for single-leaf doors and is the only real security option for problematic double-leaf doors.

The lock body, the strike plates and all components are made of lacquered steel and are designed to withstand high loads during a break-in attempt. The lock housing and the cover next to the bolts are lacquered in a grey-brown tone with a rough, hammered texture, the back plate and the mounting lugs are of bright zinc-plated steel, the bolts and the cylinder are metallic silver and the knob is black. Five bolts engage in the side strike plate, while two telescopic rods extend into the floor and the ceiling, so the door is locked at three points.

The lock has a pump-type security cylinder with a guide and a safe-type key, which prevents break-in attempts with tools, such as snapping, raking and drilling of the cylinder. The mechanism with 6 anti-burglary discs gives high resistance to forcing, and the lock is tested for over 100,000 openings.

The lock is retrofitted onto the door leaf and is supplied with strike plates, two telescopic rods, 3 safe-type keys with coloured decorative plastic caps and mounting accessories. This model is operated with the key from the outside and with the knob from the inside; the model is also available with a key on the inside.
