Security lock OMR 423 left-hand add-on key-knob

The Security lock OMR 423 left-hand is an add-on lock for retrofitting to a door and offers the highest level of protection against break-ins. It provides maximum locking security for single-leaf doors and is the only real security option for problematic double-leaf doors.

The lock body, the keepers and the other components are made of steel and are designed to withstand high loads during a break-in attempt. The lock body and the keeper cover are lacquered in a dark grey-brown (bronze brown) with a textured surface, the mounting plate and the brackets are galvanised steel, and the bolts are bright metal. Five bolts engage in the side keeper, while two telescopic rods extend into the floor and the ceiling, so the door locks at three points.

The pump cylinder with guide and safe-type key prevents break-in attempts with tools, such as snapping, combing (raking) and drilling of the cylinder. The mechanism with 6 anti-burglary discs gives high resistance to forcing, and the lock is tested for over 100,000 openings.

This version is left-hand, with the key on the outside and the knob on the inside; the model is also available with a key on the inside. The package contains the lock, the keepers, 2 telescopic rods, 3 safe-type keys with coloured decorative plastic caps and the mounting accessories.
