Security add-on lock TITAN 784V silver with restrictor

The security add-on lock TITAN 784V silver is the most common way of giving a wooden door extra protection. The version marked “V” after model number 784 offers two locking functions.

After one turn of the key the door can still be opened by a few centimetres (door chain function); the second turn locks it completely. The restrictor bar is integrated in the strike box.

The lock case and the strike box are made of zinc alloy and lacquered; the bolt, thumbturn, rose and VDC cylinder are also zinc alloy. The lock case is 93 mm long and 58 mm high, and the total depth with the thumbturn is 43 mm. It is operated with a thumbturn from the inside and with the keys of the Titan VDC K1 cylinder from the outside (quietly, in 2 turns of the key). The mechanism prevents the door from being locked accidentally by slamming it shut, and the lock can always be unlocked with the key from the outside. If needed, only the VDC cylinder is replaced, on request with a high-security TL profile cylinder with an owner card that protects against key copying.

It suits left- and right-hand as well as single- and double-leaf doors. The pack contains the lock with the restrictor, the Titan VDC K1 cylinder with 3 keys, a strike box with adjustment washers and all the screws required.
