Description
The Hinge JNF 75 × 60 mm stainless steel is made by the Portuguese manufacturer JNF. This lift-off hinge with rounded corners is designed for doors weighing up to 20 kilograms.
It is made of stainless steel EN 1.4372 (AISI 201) with a satin finish. The hinge leaves are 2.5 mm thick, the knuckle has a diameter of 12 mm and the hinge weighs 0.12 kg.
The hinge can be taken apart (lift-off version) and is available for left-hand or right-hand doors. It is the JNF model IN.05.019.75.R.ECO: the leaf is stamped EN 1935:2002 with the classification 2 7 1 0 1 2 0 and hinge grade 4 – medium category of use, 200,000 cycles, doors up to 20 kg and corrosion grade 2. The figure “up to 20 kg” is the maximum door mass, not the load capacity of a single hinge: the manufacturer specifies 3 hinges per leaf (a fourth according to load calculation). ECO versions are not suitable for fire doors and carry neither CE marking nor a declaration of performance.
It is mounted with 6 screws – 3 per leaf, through 3 + 3 countersunk holes. The screws are not included (our own declaration; JNF states no package contents). The package contains 1 hinge; the side (left or right) is chosen when ordering, because a lift-off hinge is not universal – the left and right versions are mirror images. Compare it with the hinge you are replacing before ordering.
