Hinge JNF 100 × 86 mm stainless steel square left or right

The hinge JNF 100 × 86 mm stainless steel is made by the Portuguese manufacturer JNF. This lift-off hinge with square corners is designed for doors weighing up to 60 kilograms.

It is made of stainless steel EN 1.4301 (AISI 304) with a satin finish, which resists corrosion and is easy to keep clean. The open hinge is 86 mm wide overall and 100 mm high; the leaves are 35 mm wide (24 mm at the narrow part next to the other leaf's knuckle) and 3 mm thick, and the knuckle has a diameter of 16 mm.

The hinge is stamped EN 1935:2002/AC:2003 and CE 0905 with the classification 2-7-3-1-1-3-0-10: category of use 2, durability 200,000 cycles, test door mass 60 kg, suitable for fire and smoke doors, safety 1, corrosion resistance grade 3, no burglar resistance, hinge grade 10. It can be taken apart (lift-off version) and is available for left-hand or right-hand doors.

It is mounted with 8 screws – 4 per leaf, through 4 + 4 countersunk holes. The screws are not included (our own declaration; JNF states no package contents for the IN.05.019 series). The package contains 1 hinge; the side (left or right) is chosen when ordering, because the left and right versions are mirror images – JNF marks them in the code with E (left) and D (right). Compare with the hinge you are replacing before ordering. “Up to 60 kg” is the maximum door mass, not the load capacity of a single hinge: 3 hinges per leaf are fitted as standard, a fourth according to load calculation.
