Expanding spindle for knob and handle 8 × 8 mm · 70 mm

The Expanding spindle for knob and handle is used when a handle or knob is mounted on only one side of the door, with a pull handle or a fixed knob on the outside. It fixes the handle or knob in the lock without having to be joined to an outer half.

It consists of two functional parts: the expanding part is inserted into the lock and spreads as the screw is turned, while the serrated part holds the handle once the handle's hex socket screw is tightened. The spindle, the screw and the nut are made of zinc-plated steel in silver, without paint.

The spindle is 70 mm long with an 8 × 8 mm section, so it is intended for locks with an 8 × 8 mm handle hole.

One spindle with a screw and a nut is supplied.
