Plastic handle spindle reducer 8 to 9 mm

The Plastic handle spindle reducer bridges the difference between the lock and the spindle: on some locks the spindle hole is 9 × 9 mm, while the standard door handle spindle measures 8 × 8 mm.

It is made of black plastic with a matt surface, so it is light, does not scrape against the metal of the lock and stays out of sight once fitted.

If the spindle has play in the lock, or a handle without a return spring droops or has free travel in use, the reducer is inserted into the lock and adapts the 9 × 9 mm hole to the 8 × 8 mm spindle.

It is fitted without tools, simply by pushing it into the hole in the lock; one reducer is supplied.
