Drill-in hinge AGB Ø 14 adjustable bright zinc-plated 4 pins

The Drill-in hinge AGB Ø 14 is an adjustable hinge, model AGB 3D, by the Italian manufacturer AGB for wooden doors. It is also suitable for fire doors, French windows and heavy windows.

The hinge body is made of pressed steel with a bright zinc-plated finish. The hinge pin is also made of pressed steel and has a self-lubricating sleeve and a rotating stainless steel ball.

Thanks to its small contact surface, the rotating ball allows easy adjustment of the sash, high stability and very smooth hinge movement. The hinge is certified to EN 1935 and is therefore suitable for smoke and fire doors.

The hinge has 4 pins, 39.5 mm long – 2 outer threaded ones (1.8 mm pitch) and 2 smooth middle ones – which are fitted into the wood of the sash and the frame; according to the AGB datasheet for the drilling jig a stepped drill Ø 7.9/7.5 mm is used, with hole spacing X = X1 = 25 mm. Adjustment is made with a 4 mm Allen key. AGB publishes no load capacity for Ø 14; a dealer selling the same AGB code states a maximum of 60 kg, without stating the number of hinges (90 kg applies only to 3 hinges Ø 16).
