Add-on security lock TITAN 784 white

The Add-on security lock TITAN 784 in white is the most common way to give wooden doors extra protection. It can be used as a standalone or as an additional security lock, it can be fitted to left- and right-hand doors as well as to single- and double-leaf doors, and the white finish blends discreetly into light-coloured doors.

The lock is made of steel and finished in white. It is locked from the inside with a knob and from the outside with the keys of the quality Titan VDC K1 cylinder, so locking and unlocking is simple from both sides of the door.

The mechanism of the Titan 784 is designed so that the door cannot be locked accidentally when it is slammed shut, and the lock can always be opened with the key from the outside, regardless of how it was locked. If different keys are needed, a new VDC cylinder can be bought separately and fitted while keeping the existing lock; on request, a high-security TL profile cylinder with an owner card protecting against key copying can be installed instead.

The lock is surface-mounted on the door leaf with the supplied screws; the cylinder with its rosette requires a hole through the leaf, and the strike plate is fixed through its central opening with a special anchor screw directly into the wall. It is intended for doors 38–79 mm thick. The package contains everything needed for mounting and use: Titan 784 lock, Titan VDC K1 cylinder with 3 keys, strike plate with adjustment washers and all required screws. The model is available in four colours — brown, green, white and grey — with or without a safety catch.
