Add-on security lock TITAN 784 green

The add-on security lock TITAN 784 in green is the most common way of giving wooden doors extra protection. It suits left- and right-hand doors as well as single- and double-leaf doors with a leaf thickness of 38 – 79 mm.

The lock is made of steel and this version comes in green (green-brown shade). The 784 model is available in four colours – brown, green-brown, white and grey – with or without a safety catch. This version is supplied without a safety catch, that is without security scissors; the version with a safety catch is designated 784 V.

From the inside the lock is locked with a knob, from the outside with the keys of the quality Titan VDC K1 cylinder, with two turns of the key. The mechanism is designed so that the door cannot be locked accidentally by slamming it shut, and the lock can always be opened with the key from the outside, no matter how it was locked.

The cylinder is replaceable: if other keys are needed, a new VDC cylinder can be bought separately and fitted while keeping the existing lock, and on request a high-security TL profile cylinder with an owner card against key copying can be installed. The lock is surface mounted on the inside of the door leaf, above the main lock, and the strike plate has to be fixed to the wall with an anchor screw; the manufacturer recommends installation by a professional. Everything needed for mounting and use is included.
