VDC cylinder Titan TL for add-on lock 784

The VDC cylinder Titan TL is intended for the Titan 784 and 784V add-on locks. Its quality nickel-plated body and precise manufacture make it a cylinder of very high security level (****) with excellent value for money.

The cylinder housing and the rose are made of nickel-plated zinc alloy and the core of nickel-plated brass. The keys are of nickel silver – a rust-resistant and durable material. Precise finishing lets the key slide smoothly into the cylinder, while the complex key coding prevents unauthorised copying.

The locking mechanism has 9–15 elements, 5 active spring-loaded pins and 4–10 side control pins against forced opening, so the cylinder resists burglary techniques: pin pushing, raking, drilling of the body and core (hardened pins) and bumping. The springs are made of special bronze wire.

The cylinder is supplied with 3 keys and an owner (service) card, which allows keys to be made in a controlled way only at an authorised Titan DOM service point (Ideja) and gives additional protection against unauthorised use. Duplicate keys are made only on presentation of the card.
