PRO F4 security backplate bronze handle/handle

The PRO F4 security backplate bronze with handle/handle set adds protection to existing wooden and metal doors. It is an affordable and simple solution that guards against the most common break-in method – snapping the lock cylinder.

The backplate is made of aluminium and reinforced with a steel plate; the surface has a matt bronze finish. The combination of aluminium and steel provides strength and resistance in everyday use, together with a tidy look on the outside of the door.

The 15 mm security plate is twice as thick as a standard backplate, so the cylinder does not protrude and is much harder to snap. From the outside the backplate cannot be unscrewed or forced off, because it is fixed with screws through the door leaf to the inner receiving backplate, which also prevents it from being pulled out.

It suits left- and right-hand doors up to 65 mm thick and is available with a centre distance of 85, 90 or 92 mm (measured between the centre of the handle spindle hole and the centre of the key or cylinder opening). Everything needed for mounting is included.
