Magnetic door stopper Inofix 2037 matt chrome

The magnetic door stopper Inofix 2037 matt chrome has a dual function: it stops the door and protects the wall from knocks, and when needed it holds the door open by magnet. This keeps doors from slamming in draughts.

The stopper has a plastic body in matt chrome and is supplied with a self-adhesive stainless steel plate that is stuck to the door. The magnet is hidden inside the body of the stopper.

During a normal impact the magnet does not act and the stopper cushions the knock. When you press the door firmly against the stopper, the magnet attracts the plate and holds the door open. To release the door, simply move it away from the stopper: the magnet returns to its starting position automatically, so no second press is needed.

The stopper is fixed to the floor; its self-adhesive base sticks to any smooth surface. Clean the floor and door with a cloth soaked in alcohol, align the plate with the lower edge of the magnet, stick down the stopper, then peel the protective paper off the plate and press the door against the stopper. For best results, fit it as far from the door hinges as possible.
