Description
The small gate lock IBFM 447/P is a well-made lock for sliding gates and metal fences. It secures yards, properties and business premises, and its compact body also fits narrower profiles.
The lock body is made of galvanised steel, a corrosion-resistant material, so the lock keeps working reliably in rain, snow, high temperatures and dust and is suitable for outdoor use.
The lock has a hook bolt that catches automatically when the gate closes and holds it securely shut, reducing the chance of accidental opening; it is opened with the handle or with the key. The design is reversible for left- and right-hand gates, the centre distance between the handle and the cylinder is a standard 72 mm and the backset is 40 mm.
A hook strike plate, a cylinder measuring 27 × 27 mm with its fixing screw and 3 keys are supplied with the lock, so it is ready to use and access can be shared between several users.
